USNet Announces Datacenter Migration Deal with Houston Energy Provider
The three-phase project will move and install over 600 devices in a new facility
Dallas - March 5, 2019 - USNet, a leading provider of structured cabling and datacenter relocation, announced it has been selected to manage and implement a major upcoming datacenter relocation for a large Houston-based energy company.
USNet was chosen by the unnamed energy company, one of the leading providers of domestic and commercial power, because of USNet's long and successful history of both planning and managing this type of datacenter relocation. The project, slated for a six-month completion, will include the disassembly, secure packaging, transport, and reassembly of more than 600 devices within 35 loaded cabinets to a new datacenter location.
Dustin McLeod, President of USNet, said, "This type of project is a core competency for us. Our ability to manage equipment inventory, cable mapping, the physical relocation, as well as all the facility infrastructure design and build-out makes us an ideal partner for this type of important infrastructure migration." Dustin continued, "It is an honor to support this important relocation for one of the country's leading energy providers, and we are looking forward to supporting this new client for years to come in their new facility."
For security reasons, the name of the energy company has been withheld. To learn more about USNet and the company's suite of service solutions, please visit www.USNet-1.com.
